TNEER Valvetronic Exhaust System for Aston Martin Vantage V8 4.0T 2018+

The Aston Martin Vantage V8 is built around a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 503 horsepower, sourced from AMG and mounted in a front-engine rear-wheel drive architecture that gives the Vantage a distinct dynamic character within the sports car segment. The front-engine layout creates exhaust routing requirements that differ from mid-engine platforms, with longer primary runs through the transmission tunnel and underbody and packaging constraints specific to the Vantage's chassis architecture. TNEER engineers this valvetronic system specifically for the Vantage V8, with tube routing and mounting geometry developed to the exact chassis layout of the platform.

Each section is formed from single-piece high-grade stainless-steel tubing using robotic pipe bending technology, producing continuous tube geometry throughout the system without the weld joints and flow disruptions of multi-segment construction. The system installs to all factory mounting locations, requiring no structural modification and maintaining correct chassis alignment throughout.

The ECU-controlled valvetronic mufflers manage acoustic output through the Vantage's existing vehicle architecture without secondary controllers or aftermarket modules. Valves closed, the system maintains a composed, refined tone appropriate for road use while presenting more of the twin-turbocharged V8's character than the factory exhaust allows at any throttle position. Valves open, the full acoustic output of the Vantage's V8 is unobstructed and responds directly to throttle input and engine speed. On a front-engine rear-wheel drive sports car where the exhaust note is an integral part of the driving experience, the distinction between valves closed and valves open is immediate and significant at every engine speed.

Two tip configurations are available to complete the system at the rear fascia. The quad silver tips provide a classic, high polish finish consistent with the Vantage's visual character. The carbon fiber tips present an alternative for owners whose build direction calls for exposed carbon at the rear, providing a visual distinction that complements both standard and modified Vantage builds.

Optional Downpipe Configurations:

For owners who want to address the primary and secondary restriction points in the Vantage's exhaust path, TNEER offers three downpipe specifications that deliver meaningful performance improvement beyond what the valvetronic muffler system alone provides.

  • The Quantum Ceramic Coated race downpipes remove the factory catalytic converters at the primary restriction point immediately downstream of the turbocharger outlets, where back pressure reduction has the most direct effect on turbine behavior, spool characteristics, and mid-range torque delivery. TNEER applies their proprietary Quantum Ceramic Coating to the race downpipes in three layers of ultra-light ceramic particles, addressing the thermal demands at the downpipe location where exhaust gas temperatures are at their peak. These components are intended for closed course and off-road use.
  • The Quantum Ceramic Coated 200-cell sport downpipes retain a high-flow catalytic substrate in place of the factory units, reducing restriction significantly while maintaining a level of emissions compliance appropriate for street-driven builds. For Vantage owners who require a balance between full-system performance and daily usability, the 200-cell specification delivers a substantive upgrade within a practical operating profile.
  • The secondary race downpipes address the next restriction point downstream of the primary downpipes, allowing the full effect of the primary downpipe work to carry through the system without reintroducing back pressure at the secondary stage. For owners specifying the primary race downpipes, adding the secondary race downpipes completes the restriction reduction across both stages of the downpipe run on the Vantage's twin-turbocharger configuration.

All downpipe components are fabricated from high-grade stainless steel and engineered to the same fitment standard as the valvetronic muffler system.

Quantum Ceramic Coating:

QCC handles 50% more heat than conventional ceramic coatings, maintaining thermal integrity at the race downpipe location under sustained V8 output. Hardness and wear resistance exceed standard ceramic alternatives by 30%, ensuring coating integrity through repeated heat cycling on track and during spirited road use. At 50% lighter than a typical exhaust thermal shield, QCC delivers thermal management without adding mass back into a system engineered for weight efficiency.

About TNEER:

TNEER is built around a single engineering conviction: the exhaust system is not a peripheral component. It is the primary interface between the engine and the driver's experience of it. Every system TNEER produces is developed to bring out the true voice of the engine it is built for, improving exhaust flow and delivering a distinct tone that is mechanical, raw, and directly connected to the character of the car.

The manufacturing process that defines TNEER's fitment standard is their high-tech robotic pipe bending technology. Rather than fabricating exhaust routing from multiple welded sections, TNEER forms each tube from a single continuous piece, bending high-grade material to navigate the spatial constraints of each specific engine bay without the diameter reductions, flow disruptions, and structural inconsistencies that welded multi-piece construction introduces. The result is an exhaust system with continuous tube geometry, perfect fitment to the platform it is built for, and no compromises in the routing that precision bending makes unnecessary.

For enthusiasts who regard sound and performance as inseparable elements of the driving experience, TNEER engineers each system to deliver both from the first throttle input.

Note:

  • Valves are ECU controlled
  • Downpipes are not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road use only.
  • ECU tuning may be required due to removal of factory catalytic converters.
