TNEER Valvetronic Exhaust System for Aston Martin Rapide V12 2010-2018

The Aston Martin Rapide is the only four-door, four-seat grand touring car Aston Martin has produced, built around a front-mounted 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 470 horsepower in the standard configuration and 558 horsepower in the Rapide S specification that followed. The Rapide's extended wheelbase, four-door body structure, and longer overall dimensions create exhaust routing requirements that are more complex than any other Aston Martin V12 platform, with primary runs through a longer transmission tunnel and underbody layout specific to the four-door architecture. TNEER engineers this valvetronic system specifically for the Rapide, with tube routing and mounting geometry developed to the exact chassis layout of the platform across its full production run.

Each section is formed from single-piece high-grade stainless-steel tubing using robotic pipe bending technology, producing continuous tube geometry throughout the system without the weld joints and flow disruptions of multi-segment construction. The Rapide's extended underbody layout makes consistent internal diameter and precise routing geometry across the full length of the system particularly consequential to exhaust gas velocity and back pressure management. The system installs to all factory mounting locations, requiring no structural modification and maintaining correct chassis alignment throughout the Rapide's extended underbody.

The valvetronic rear mufflers are controlled directly from the car's cabin. Valves closed, the system maintains a composed, refined tone consistent with the Rapide's four-door grand touring character while presenting more of the naturally aspirated V12's acoustic presence than the factory exhaust allows at any throttle position. Valves open, the full acoustic output of the 6.0-litre V12 is unobstructed. As engine speed builds toward the redline, the exhaust note rises with the mechanical authority of a large-displacement naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder operating without restriction.

Optional: Secondary Race Downpipes

For owners who want to address the restriction points in the Rapide's exhaust path, TNEER offers secondary race downpipes as an optional addition to the valvetronic system. The secondary race downpipes remove catalytic converters at the secondary restriction point downstream of the primary exhaust manifolds, allowing exhaust gases to move through the system with significantly reduced obstruction from the collection points back. On a naturally aspirated V12 platform, back pressure reduction at this location has a direct relationship with top-end breathing and throttle response across the full rev range. The extended underbody length of the Rapide makes this restriction point more consequential than on shorter Aston Martin V12 platforms, where the distance between the manifold collectors and the rear mufflers is shorter. These components are intended for closed-course and off-road use.

About TNEER:

TNEER is built around a single engineering conviction: the exhaust system is not a peripheral component. It is the primary interface between the engine and the driver's experience of it. Every system TNEER produces is developed to bring out the true voice of the engine it is built for, improving exhaust flow and delivering a distinct tone that is mechanical, raw, and directly connected to the character of the car.

The manufacturing process that defines TNEER's fitment standard is their high-tech robotic pipe bending technology. Rather than fabricating exhaust routing from multiple welded sections, TNEER forms each tube from a single continuous piece, bending high-grade material to navigate the spatial constraints of each specific engine bay without the diameter reductions, flow disruptions, and structural inconsistencies that welded multi-piece construction introduces. The result is an exhaust system with continuous tube geometry, perfect fitment to the platform it is built for, and no compromises in the routing that precision bending makes unnecessary.

For enthusiasts who regard sound and performance as inseparable elements of the driving experience, TNEER engineers each system to deliver both from the first throttle input.
