TNEER Valvetronic Exhaust System for Aston Martin DB9 / DBS V12 2004-2016

The Aston Martin DB9 and DBS are built around a front-mounted 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12, producing 470 horsepower in the DB9 and 510 horsepower in the DBS, housed in Aston Martin's VH bonded aluminum architecture that underpins the most significant grand touring platforms the brand has produced. The DB9 established the visual and engineering template for Aston Martin's modern era when it launched in 2004, and the DBS elevated that foundation to a more performance-focused specification with revised suspension, braking, and powertrain tuning. Both platforms share the same fundamental front-engine V12 grand touring architecture, with exhaust routing requirements specific to the VH platform's bonded aluminum structure and extended underbody layout. TNEER engineers this valvetronic system to accommodate both the DB9 and DBS across their full production runs, with tube routing and mounting geometry developed to the exact chassis layout shared by both platforms.

Each section is formed from single-piece high-grade stainless-steel tubing using robotic pipe bending technology, producing continuous tube geometry throughout the system without the weld joints and flow disruptions of multi-segment construction. The DB9 and DBS's front-engine V12 architecture requires extended primary exhaust runs through the transmission tunnel and underbody, making consistent internal diameter and precise routing geometry more consequential to overall system performance than on shorter platform applications. The system installs to all factory mounting locations across both platforms and all model years, requiring no structural modification and maintaining correct chassis alignment throughout.

The valvetronic rear mufflers are controlled directly from the car's cabin, giving the driver immediate authority over acoustic output without secondary controllers or aftermarket modules. Valves closed, the system maintains a composed, refined tone consistent with the DB9 and DBS's grand touring character while presenting more of the naturally aspirated V12's acoustic presence than the factory exhaust allows at any throttle position. Valves open, the full acoustic output of the 6.0-litre V12 is unobstructed. As engine speed builds toward the redline, the exhaust note rises with the mechanical authority of a large-displacement naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder grand touring car operating without exhaust restriction. The DB9 and DBS V12 produces one of the most celebrated exhaust notes in the grand touring segment. This system presents that character without the attenuation the factory exhaust imposes, available on demand from the cabin on every drive.

About TNEER:

TNEER is built around a single engineering conviction: the exhaust system is not a peripheral component. It is the primary interface between the engine and the driver's experience of it. Every system TNEER produces is developed to bring out the true voice of the engine it is built for, improving exhaust flow and delivering a distinct tone that is mechanical, raw, and directly connected to the character of the car.

The manufacturing process that defines TNEER's fitment standard is their high-tech robotic pipe bending technology. Rather than fabricating exhaust routing from multiple welded sections, TNEER forms each tube from a single continuous piece, bending high-grade material to navigate the spatial constraints of each specific engine bay without the diameter reductions, flow disruptions, and structural inconsistencies that welded multi-piece construction introduces. The result is an exhaust system with continuous tube geometry, perfect fitment to the platform it is built for, and no compromises in the routing that precision bending makes unnecessary.

For enthusiasts who regard sound and performance as inseparable elements of the driving experience, TNEER engineers each system to deliver both from the first throttle input.
