TNEER Valvetronic 4" LM Cup Exhaust System for Nissan R35 GT-R 2008+
The LM Cup designation reflects TNEER's most aggressive exhaust specification for the R35 GT-R, built around a 4-inch diameter exhaust system that represents a significant departure from conventional GT-R exhaust diameters available in the aftermarket. The Nissan R35 GT-R's VR38DETT 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 produces between 480 and 600 horsepower depending on model year and specification, and at the upper end of that output range, exhaust system diameter becomes an increasingly consequential variable in how efficiently the engine can exhale at sustained high load. TNEER engineers the LM Cup system specifically for the R35 GT-R platform, with a complete 4-inch exhaust path from the Y-pipe through the mid pipe to the valvetronic rear mufflers, addressing the full exhaust route in a single oversized-diameter system built from high-grade stainless steel throughout.
Each section is formed from single-piece high-grade stainless-steel tubing using robotic pipe bending technology, producing continuous 4-inch tube geometry throughout the complete system without the weld joints and flow disruptions of multi-segment construction. Maintaining a consistent 4-inch diameter across single-piece bent sections at this scale represents a more demanding manufacturing requirement than smaller diameter systems, where dimensional consistency through tight bends becomes more difficult to achieve as tube diameter increases. The Y-pipe consolidates exhaust flow from both turbocharger outlets into the 4-inch routing path, and the mid pipe carries that flow through the GT-R's transaxle underbody layout to the valvetronic rear muffler section. The system installs to all factory mounting locations, requiring no structural modification and maintaining correct chassis alignment throughout.
The valvetronic rear mufflers are managed through the TACS, TNEER's proprietary App Control System, which gives the driver full manual authority over valve position through a dedicated application interface independent of driving mode or vehicle operating condition. Valves closed, the system maintains a tone appropriate for road use while still reflecting the increased flow characteristics of the 4-inch diameter system. Valves open through the TACS, the full acoustic output of the VR38DETT at this exhaust diameter is unobstructed and responds directly to throttle input and engine speed. At higher output levels within the GT-R's tuning range, the LM Cup's increased diameter is designed to support exhaust flow demands that a standard-diameter system is more likely to restrict. The TACS makes that acoustic experience available on demand at any time regardless of driving mode on every drive.
Two tip configurations are available to complete the system at the rear fascia. The quad silver tips provide a clean, high-polish finish consistent with the GT-R's technical aesthetic. The titanium plated tips present a distinctive heat-treated color variation for owners whose build direction calls for a more visually striking finish that reflects the LM Cup specification's performance intent.
Optional Race Downpipes:
- For owners who want to address the primary restriction point in the exhaust path, TNEER offers race downpipes that complete the LM Cup system from the turbocharger outlets back. The race downpipes remove the factory catalytic converters immediately downstream of the turbocharger outlets, where back pressure reduction has the most direct effect on turbine behavior, spool characteristics, and mid-range torque delivery. Combined with the 4-inch Y-pipe, mid pipe, and valvetronic muffler system, the race downpipes complete a full exhaust path engineered around maximum flow capacity at every point from the manifold collectors to the tips. These components are intended for closed course and off-road use.
About TNEER:
TNEER is built around a single engineering conviction: the exhaust system is not a peripheral component. It is the primary interface between the engine and the driver's experience of it. Every system TNEER produces is developed to bring out the true voice of the engine it is built for, improving exhaust flow and delivering a distinct tone that is mechanical, raw, and directly connected to the character of the car.
The manufacturing process that defines TNEER's fitment standard is their high-tech robotic pipe bending technology. Rather than fabricating exhaust routing from multiple welded sections, TNEER forms each tube from a single continuous piece, bending high-grade material to navigate the spatial constraints of each specific engine bay without the diameter reductions, flow disruptions, and structural inconsistencies that welded multi-piece construction introduces. The result is an exhaust system with continuous tube geometry, perfect fitment to the platform it is built for, and no compromises in the routing that precision bending makes unnecessary.
For enthusiasts who regard sound and performance as inseparable elements of the driving experience, TNEER engineers each system to deliver both from the first throttle input.
Note:
- Downpipes are not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road use only.
- ECU tuning may be required due to removal of factory catalytic converters.
