Soul Performance developed this exhaust system with a true start to finish engineering process. From CAD modeling to CNC machining, every component was created with performance and fitment in mind. A custom cast transition cone was designed to move exhaust gases efficiently from the large header flange into the muffler section, supporting maximum flow and consistent performance gains. The mating flanges and clamping surfaces are fully machined for exact fitment and a reliable seal. This required more than casting the component. Soul Performance also engineered and built a dedicated fixture to complete the final precision machining process. That level of detail ensures proper alignment, reduced risk of leaks, and long-term durability. By minimizing unnecessary welds and optimizing internal transitions, this performance exhaust system improves exhaust flow while maintaining structural integrity. Valve Control:

The exhaust system on these cars use electronically controlled actuators mounted to a free moving mechanical valve assembly. From the factory, the exhaust valve programming keeps the valves closed until approximately 4k RPM. Between 4k and 5k RPM, the valves begin to open gradually. At 5k RPM, they reach the fully open position. When Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) is activated, you can rev the engine with the valves open. Once you begin accelerating, the system returns to its programmed cycle. The valves close again below 4k RPM, then progressively open between 4k and 5k RPM. This sequence repeats under normal driving conditions.
