Soul Performance Non-Valved Exhaust System Package for Porsche 911 Turbo / Turbo S / Dakar (992.1) 2020+

Unlock the full capability of the Porsche 992 Turbo and Turbo S with the SOUL Performance non-valved exhaust system. Engineered for drivers who want real gains in both sound and output, this package delivers a true 3” flow path from front to rear for improved exhaust velocity and increased horsepower potential. High-flow catted and catless configurations allow you to tailor the setup for street or track use, while the precision-built design keeps the tone deep, exotic, and refined at any RPM.

This performance exhaust is the ideal upgrade for enthusiasts looking to reduce exhaust restrictions, improve throttle response, and bring out the unmistakable character of the 992 Turbo platform. Crafted from premium materials and designed for perfect fitment, the SOUL Performance system transforms the driving experience without sacrificing comfort or drivability.

Details:

Soul Performance engineered this exhaust system with one priority, increasing flow beyond the limits of the factory system. The OEM tubing is restricted to 2.75”, so the design begins with custom catalytic converter sections that step up to a full 3” diameter in both catted and catless options. From there, exhaust gases move into a true 3” X-pipe and continue through 3” piping all the way to the tips, creating a consistent path with no bottlenecks. Many X-pipes rely on pie-cut and welded bends that reduce internal diameter at the merge point. Soul Performance uses a cast X-pipe that keeps the full 3” size through the crossover. The extended merge section improves gas velocity and maintains structural integrity while minimizing the number of welds in the system. The result is a more efficient transition between both banks and improved overall flow.

The longer crossover also changes the character of the sound. Blending both banks over a greater distance produces a smoother, higher frequency tone compared to short, separated paths. Early prototypes used four resonators, similar to previous Turbo systems, but the final configuration uses two. This setup refines the exhaust sound while allowing more volume inside and outside the car. On the 992 platform, drone typically appears between 2,000 and 2,400 rpm, especially as back pressure is reduced. To address this, Soul Performance developed Helmholtz anti-drone tubes with specific lengths and placement to target those frequencies. The remaining resonance stays within a range most drivers consider acceptable for a high-output performance exhaust. After testing each side independently, the tubes were merged into a balanced layout that maintains their function while improving the visual presentation under the car.

Valve Simulator:

Removing the exhaust valves requires more than disconnecting a plug. These electronically controlled components are tied into the vehicle’s factory monitoring system, so unplugging them will trigger a fault and force the car into limp mode. Detaching the electronic actuators from the valve assemblies and leaving them connected does not solve the issue either. The factory actuators must be secured to the Soul Performance mounting brackets, which provide a defined open and closed position that mirrors the stock valve operation. By replicating the original movement and feedback, the system maintains proper communication with the ECU. The included brackets allow the exhaust upgrade to function without causing a valve related check engine light, or reduced performance, making it a reliable solution for enthusiasts who want a valve delete without compromising drivability.

Note:

  • Fits US model Porsche 992 Turbo vehicles (2020+) without Gasoline Particulate Filters / GPF.
  • (Does not fit European vehicles)
  • Also fits US-model 992 Sport Classic and Dakar models.
  • Complete your exhaust with the optional Soul Performance Sport Headers
  • Designed and built in-house at the Soul Performance Willow Grove, PA facility.
  • Enjoy your SOUL exhaust components with confidence on both the street and track as they are covered for life! Our team will quickly work with you to resolve any issues or answer any questions that you may have.
  • The Competition package may trigger a check engine light due to removal of factory catalytic converters. It is suggested a custom ECU tune is utilized to disable any check engine lights (for track use only).
  • This Non-Valved Exhaust System Package is not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for closed course competition use only.
