The Mercedes-AMG GT C192 arrives from the factory as one of the most visually and mechanically compelling two-door performance cars available. The GT 55 produces 469 horsepower from a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, the GT 63 extracts 577 horsepower from the same engine in a higher state of tune, and the GT 63 S E Performance layers an electric rear axle motor over that foundation for a combined system output of 831 horsepower. The C192's long hood, wide rear haunch, and two-door sports car proportions give the platform a visual presence that is specific to this generation of AMG GT and distinct from everything else in the lineup. The Maxton Design bodykit is built around the conviction that those proportions are the starting point, not the finished result.
Maxton Design's Carbon Division produces this 18-piece kit entirely from prepreg carbon fiber, cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave. The thermopressure process produces a denser, more uniform laminate than wet-laid construction, with a tighter fiber-to-resin ratio, superior surface consistency, and structural integrity that reflects the aerospace and motorsport origins of the manufacturing method. Every component across the full kit, from the largest body panels to the smallest canard elements, is produced to the same standard without exception.
The kit addresses the C192's exterior from the front splitter to the rear spoiler, covering every aerodynamically and visually significant surface on the car. The front splitter reduces the airflow space beneath the vehicle's leading edge by 2 centimeters, increasing front axle downforce at speed. The carbon fiber hood replaces the factory panel entirely. Side skirt diffusers extend the lower body line and channel air along the sill, contributing to aerodynamic stability through the mid-section. Front bumper canards and front fender side vents work in conjunction at the front corners to manage airflow and improve high-speed traction. Rear bumper canards complete the aerodynamic treatment at the rear corners. The rear diffuser addresses underbody airflow extraction at the tail. The rear spoiler completes the system, adding rear axle downforce and requiring deactivation of the factory active rear wing following installation.
The result is a C192 that reads as a cohesive, purpose-built aerodynamic package rather than a collection of aftermarket additions. Every component is individually packaged with protective foil, bubble wrap, and a protective mat to preserve the carbon surface finish during transit, arriving at the same standard it left the Maxton Design Carbon Division in.
