Properly Implemented Port Fuel Injection
The 3.0L B58 engine in the GR Supra is a solid piece of German engineering. But the stock direct injection setup isn’t ideal for big power or running ethanol blends. That’s why many owners turn to port fuel injector spacers between the cylinder head and the intake manifold. When the AMS team started work on the 2020+ GR Supra Intake Manifold, they wanted a better solution built right into the design. Placing the injector ports on the manifold runners lets the fuel spray hit the intake valve and combustion chamber directly. This avoids fuel puddling on the walls of the runners. They also mounted the -8AN fuel rail flush with the manifold and shaped the runners so the injectors spray in a clean, direct line. This gives the engine better atomization and better combustion efficiency.
Parallel Split Core Design for Optimized Coolant Flow
The biggest innovation in the AMS 2020+ GR Supra Intake Manifold is the parallel split core layout. Instead of pushing coolant from one end to the other, it flows from the center out. This reduces pressure drop and increases flow rate. The coolant moves faster and sheds heat more effectively. Every cylinder gets the same cool water, matched with the coolest air, to keep intake temps stable across the board. The twin cores, rated for 1250+ HP, are built for both coolant and airflow performance. The AMS Snailworks Engineering team balanced airflow volume with efficient heat exchange. They tuned core dimensions, fin density, fin height, and water passage size to keep pressure low and cooling strong. This design keeps intake temps under control even when power levels climb.

- Fuel rail is designed for Bosch injectors such as Injector Dynamics 1050.34.14.14.6. Other Bosch injectors may be compatible with 14mm bore lower and upper o-rings and no top cap.
