The AMS Performance BMW G8X M3/M4 Heat Exchanger wasn’t just designed in CAD or checked on a bench. It was pushed hard on the street and at the track. Our team logged controlled dyno runs and street miles to track intercooler outlet temps under heavy load. To raise the bar, we partnered with time attack racer Jackie Ding. He ran the system on his BMW M2 during Gridlife and Super Lap Battle events. The AMS unit held steady. Peak temps came in at 112.8°F. The stock setup hit 116.4°F. The top aftermarket competitor climbed to 120.2°F. In coolant testing, the AMS Heat Exchanger also ran cooler by 16°F compared to the leading competitor. The numbers speak for themselves.
