It’s built in a temperature and humidity controlled clean room, which keeps everything consistent and precise. AMS has spent decades winning races with the VR38. That experience shows in every build. AMS has pushed the VR38DETT V6 to record-breaking levels. Their short blocks are engineered for high power and reliability. The rotating assembly comes complete, so installation is simple. They use a mixture of top-grade OEM and AMS spec components that meet strict standards.

AMS builds each engine by hand using the same care they put into their 3000+ WHP race cars. Every block is checked for correct dimensions, bore size, alignment, and flatness. All tolerances, torque specs, and clearances are documented. Their quality control process is strict because the engine is the foundation of your build.
