The AMS Performance 3.8L VR38 Stage 1 Short Block is built for people who want serious power out of their Nissan GTR. It’s a fully assembled short block that drops in clean, built with precise machining in-house. AMS strengthens each engine to handle the massive power and torque from their OMEGA and ALPHA packages. It’s assembled in a temperature and humidity controlled clean room to make sure every piece is exact. AMS uses decades of race experience to build one of the toughest and most advanced engine programs for the VR38 platform.

AMS has pushed the VR38DETT V6 to record-breaking levels. Their short blocks are engineered for high power and reliability. The rotating assembly comes complete, so installation is simple. They use a mix of top-grade OEM and AMS spec components that meet strict standards.
