TNEER Valvetronic Exhaust System for Ferrari F360 1999-2005
The Ferrari F360 is built around a 3.6-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 400 horsepower at 8,500 RPM, a mid-engine configuration that represented a significant step forward in Ferrari's V8 road car lineage when it was introduced in 1999. The F360's flat-plane crank V8 and high-revving character established the acoustic signature that Ferrari's mid-engine V8 platforms have built upon through every subsequent generation. On a naturally aspirated platform of this specification, the exhaust system has a direct relationship with engine breathing, throttle response, and acoustic output across the full rev range. TNEER engineers this valvetronic system specifically for the F360, with routing geometry and mounting points developed to the mid-engine chassis layout of the platform.
Each section is formed from single-piece high-grade stainless-steel tubing using robotic pipe bending technology, producing continuous tube geometry throughout the system without the weld joints and cross-sectional inconsistencies of multi-segment construction. The system installs to all factory mounting locations, requiring no structural modification and maintaining correct chassis alignment throughout.
The valvetronic rear mufflers are controlled directly from the car's cabin, giving the driver immediate authority over acoustic output without secondary controllers or aftermarket modules. Valves closed, the system maintains a composed tone appropriate for road use while preserving the inherent character of a high-revving naturally aspirated V8 at any throttle position. Valves open, the full acoustic output of the F360's 3.6-litre V8 is unobstructed. As engine speed builds toward the 8,500 RPM redline, the exhaust note rises with the mechanical urgency that defines a naturally aspirated Ferrari V8 at full throttle. For owners of one of the most significant mid-engine Ferrari V8 platforms in the model's history, cabin control over valve position makes that acoustic experience available on demand on every drive.
Two tip configurations are available to complete the system at the rear fascia. The quad silver tips provide a classic, high polish finish consistent with the F360's visual character. The carbon fiber tips present an alternative finish for owners whose build direction calls for exposed carbon at the rear, providing a visual distinction that complements both standard and modified F360 builds.
Optional Downpipe Configurations
For owners who want to address the primary restriction point in the exhaust path, TNEER offers two downpipe specifications that deliver meaningful performance and acoustic improvement beyond what the valvetronic muffler system alone provides.
- The race downpipes remove the factory catalytic converters at the primary restriction point in the exhaust path, where back pressure reduction has the most direct relationship with top-end breathing and throttle response on a naturally aspirated engine. On a naturally aspirated V8 at this displacement and redline, the difference between a restricted and unrestricted exhaust path at full load is audible, measurable, and immediate. These components are intended for closed course and off-road use.
- The 200-cell sport downpipes retain a high-flow catalytic substrate in place of the factory units, reducing restriction significantly while maintaining a level of emissions compliance appropriate for street-driven builds. For F360 owners who require a balance between full-system performance and daily usability, the 200-cell specification delivers a substantive upgrade within a practical operating profile.
All downpipe components are fabricated from high-grade stainless steel and engineered to the same fitment standard as the valvetronic muffler system.
About TNEER:
TNEER is built around a single engineering conviction: the exhaust system is not a peripheral component. It is the primary interface between the engine and the driver's experience of it. Every system TNEER produces is developed to bring out the true voice of the engine it is built for, improving exhaust flow and delivering a distinct tone that is mechanical, raw, and directly connected to the character of the car.
The manufacturing process that defines TNEER's fitment standard is their high-tech robotic pipe bending technology. Rather than fabricating exhaust routing from multiple welded sections, TNEER forms each tube from a single continuous piece, bending high-grade material to navigate the spatial constraints of each specific engine bay without the diameter reductions, flow disruptions, and structural inconsistencies that welded multi-piece construction introduces. The result is an exhaust system with continuous tube geometry, perfect fitment to the platform it is built for, and no compromises in the routing that precision bending makes unnecessary.
For enthusiasts who regard sound and performance as inseparable elements of the driving experience, TNEER engineers each system to deliver both from the first throttle input.
Note:
- Downpipes are not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road use only.
-
ECU tuning may be required due to removal of factory catalytic converters.
