TNEER Valvetronic Exhaust System for Lamborghini Urus 2018-2022

The Lamborghini Urus presents a specific engineering challenge for exhaust development. A 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 641 horsepower in a performance SUV platform means the exhaust system must manage forced-induction thermal demands, navigate a constrained underbody layout shared with drivetrain and suspension components, and deliver acoustic output that reflects the Lamborghini character the platform is built around. TNEER engineers this valvetronic system specifically for the Urus chassis, with tube routing, X-pipe placement, and mounting geometry developed to the vehicle's exact underbody architecture.

Each section is formed from single-piece high-grade stainless-steel tubing using robotic pipe bending technology, producing continuous tube geometry throughout the system without the weld joints and flow disruptions of multi-segment construction. The X-pipe is integrated into the mid-system, cross-linking both exhaust banks to balance pulse energy between the V8's cylinder groups. On a twin-turbocharged platform, mid-system scavenging through an X-pipe contributes to exhaust flow efficiency and the tonal coherence of the note under acceleration, allowing the character of the Urus's V8 to express itself more fully through the system at every engine speed. The system installs to all factory mounting locations, requiring no structural modification and maintaining correct chassis alignment throughout.

The ECU-controlled valvetronic mufflers manage acoustic output through the Urus's existing vehicle architecture without secondary controllers or aftermarket modules. Valves closed, the system maintains a composed tone appropriate for daily and highway use while presenting more of the twin-turbocharged V8's character than the factory exhaust allows at any throttle position. Valves open, the full acoustic output of the Urus's V8 is unobstructed and responds directly to throttle input and engine speed. On a forced-induction platform with an X-pipe in the mid-system, the exhaust note at full throttle with valves open is a direct and immediate reflection of how efficiently exhaust gases are moving through the system.

Two tip configurations are available to complete the system at the rear fascia. The quad silver tips provide a classic, high-polish finish. The carbon fiber tips present an alternative for owners whose build direction calls for exposed carbon at the rear, providing a visual distinction that complements both standard and modified Urus builds.

Optional Downpipe Configurations

For owners seeking maximum performance extraction, TNEER offers two downpipe specifications that address the primary restriction point in the Urus exhaust path.

  • The race downpipes remove the factory catalytic converters entirely, delivering the most direct reduction in exhaust back pressure available on the platform. The effect is measurable at the turbocharger level, where reduced downstream restriction translates to faster spool, improved mid-range torque delivery, and sharper throttle response across the rev range. These components are intended for closed course and off-road use.
  • The 200-cell sport downpipes retain a high-flow catalytic substrate, reducing restriction significantly compared to the factory units while maintaining a level of emissions compliance suitable for street-driven builds. For Urus owners who require a balance between performance and daily usability, the 200-cell specification represents a meaningful upgrade within a practical operating profile.

Both downpipe options are constructed from high-grade stainless steel and engineered to the same fitment standard as the remainder of the system.

The Art Of Sound:

In 1913, Luigi Russolo published The Art of Noises. His work explored how the industrial revolution changed the way people experience sound. Engines, machines, and mechanical movement created a new soundscape that went far beyond traditional music. Russolo believed these mechanical sounds represented the future of how people would hear and appreciate the world around them. That same philosophy connects directly with TNEER exhaust systems. Performance cars are not only about speed or appearance. Sound plays a major role in the driving experience. A well designed performance exhaust transforms the character of the car every time the engine starts. TNEER engineers focus on building high performance exhaust systems that bring out the true voice of the engine. Each system is designed to improve exhaust flow while delivering a distinct tone that drivers can feel from the first throttle input. The result is an exhaust note that feels raw, mechanical, and deeply connected to the car itself. For enthusiasts who value performance and sound, TNEER creates an experience that goes far beyond standard factory exhaust systems.

Note:

  • Valves are ECU controlled
  • Downpipes are not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road use only.
  • ECU tuning may be required due to removal of factory catalytic converters.
