Forgelite LP SERIES LP2 (21"/22") Wheel Set for Porsche 911 992.2 GTS 2025+
The LP Series is Forgelite's fully forged 6061-T6 aluminum wheel collection built around a design philosophy defined by timeless OEM-plus aesthetics. Clean lines and sophisticated surface curvatures throughout each design produce a wheel that complements the proportions of luxury and performance platforms without the visual aggression of motorsport-derived spoke geometry. This LP2 1-piece wheel set is configured specifically for the Porsche 911 992.2 GTS, built to the exact fitment requirements of the platform for owners who want a premium, refined wheel that presents as a natural extension of the car rather than an aftermarket addition.
The LP2 takes inspiration from some of the most iconic motorsport wheel designs in automotive history, reinterpreted through Forgelite's own design perspective and executed using modern CNC machining techniques that the original designs were never built with. Each wheel in the LP Series is engineered for efficient machining, structural strength, and reduced weight, delivering the performance benefits of forged 6061-T6 aluminum construction within a design language that prioritizes sophistication over spectacle. On the 992.2 GTS, a platform where the factory wheel design is already considered one of the stronger OEM offerings in the segment, the LP2 raises that standard further without departing from it.
The LP2 is FEA tested to 300,000 cornering fatigue cycles at 1.5G lateral load, exceeding the TÜV Rheinland standard of 200,000 cycles by 50%. On an F1 circuit averaging 17 turns per lap, that represents over 17,500 laps of validated structural integrity at sustained performance loads. Every wheel is produced with a controlled runout tolerance under 0.50mm, tighter than the industry standard of 0.76mm, with most wheels achieving 0.30mm or lower. Each wheel ships with a QC certificate showing the actual measured runout value.
Each LP2 is built to order to the confirmed specification. No shelf stock. No adaptation from an existing size. OEM TPMS, and centerlock nut compatibility is standard, ensuring installation integrates with the vehicle's existing hardware without modification. Brake clearance is individually engineered to the specific vehicle application, including OEM carbon ceramic and aftermarket big brake kit configurations. For exotic and high-performance platforms where large caliper and rotor packages are common, this level of brake clearance engineering is a prerequisite for correct fitment rather than an optional consideration.
Finish options are available across Forgelite's solid tone and premium powder coat range, each available in gloss or satin clear coat.
Wheel Specs:

Solid Tone Finishes:
- Forgelite offers an extensive range of solid tone powder coat finishes, each available with a gloss or satin clear coat applied over the base color to enhance durability and long-term appearance. Every powder coat used in the finish process is manufactured in the USA, reflecting the same material sourcing standard that defines Forgelite Wheels. See the image gallery for the full range of solid tone color swatches.
Premium Finishes:
- Forgelite transparent finishes are a premium application that begins with a polished aluminum base, bringing the machined surface of the wheel to a high luster before any coating is applied. The transparent coat is then applied over that polished foundation, preserving the natural depth and reflectivity of the aluminum beneath while adding a protective layer that holds the finish over time. Available with a gloss or satin clear coat applied over the base color to enhance durability and long-term appearance. See the image gallery for the full range of premium color swatches
Brushed or Polished Option:
- The hand-brushed finish is applied entirely by hand by Forgelite's artisans using 150 to 200 grit sandpaper, introducing a fine directional texture to the aluminum surface before a transparent color and clear coat finish is applied over the top. The brushing process works with the machined contours of the wheel, requiring the artisan to navigate every spoke surface, transition, and detail by hand to achieve a consistent texture across the entire face. The result is a finish with a depth and subtlety that machine-applied processes cannot replicate. The brushed texture reads through the transparent color and clear coat finish as a refined surface detail, distinct from both a polished and a powder coated finish, and specific to the hand and technique of the person who applied it.
- The mirror polished finish is achieved through a combination of machine and hand polishing that removes all machine marks and surface texture from the aluminum, working the surface down to a reflective, mirror-like finish. The process is progressive, moving through successive stages of polishing until the aluminum reaches a clarity and reflectivity that presents the material at its most refined. A transparent color and satin or gloss clear coat is then applied over the polished surface to preserve the high luster finish and protect it from the environmental exposure that would otherwise degrade an uncoated polished aluminum surface over time. The clear coat selection allows owners to introduce a subtle tint to the polished base through the transparent color application, or preserve the natural silver of the aluminum beneath a fully clear coat. In either direction, the mirror surface beneath the coating remains the defining visual element of the finish.
About Forgelite Wheels:
Forgelite was established in 2019 and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company was founded by a team with professional mechanical engineering backgrounds and over a decade of combined experience in the motorsports industry, a foundation that informs every design and manufacturing decision the brand makes.
Every Forgelite wheel design is developed entirely in-house by their designer engineer. The process begins with traditional hand sketches before progressing through exhaustive 3D solid modeling and iterative design refinement spanning multiple months. The result is a catalog of wheel designs that are proprietary, visually distinct, and developed to a standard that generic CAD-to-production workflows do not produce. No design leaves the process until it meets the visual and engineering standard the brand was built around.
Forgelite maintains a proprietary fitment database that enables inch-perfect wheel and tire combinations for each vehicle application. For owners of exotic, luxury, and high-performance vehicles where fitment precision is as consequential to the finished result as design and finish selection, that database represents a meaningful engineering investment in the customer outcome rather than a standard order process.
Note:
- Typical manufacturing lead time is 8-12 weeks depending on wheel configuration and finishes.
